Why Mental Health & Yoga?

Brave Wellness Studio was founded and created by Denise Alba, San Diego-based Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Yoga Instructor. Born to immigrant parents from Mexico, Denise found healing from a difficult time in her life through yoga and her own psychotherapy journey. Her goal was to create a space for all to gain community and support through their own healing journeys.

Our Mission at Brave is to provide a space for healing, a place to dig deep whether mental, physical, or emotional, Brave is here to support and guide you towards living a Brave life.
